EIRC 2026 Cancellation Refunds Update

Dear Athletes, Spectators and Supporters, we wanted to provide an important update regarding refunds following the cancellation of EIRC 2026.

​

Firstly, we want to reassure everyone that a full refund will be provided to every person who registered for EIRC, across all race categories and events, including spectator tickets.

Unfortunately, the mass refund process is taking significantly longer than we ever anticipated. We are continuing to work directly with the registration platform, and progress is being made. Please be assured that refunds will be processed and nobody who registered will be missed.

We would also like to apologise for the limited communication over recent weeks. We have since realised that some communications sent through the registration platform were not reaching all competitors as we had intended, which has understandably resulted in some confusion and inconsistent information.

The EIRC email inbox and Instagram account are also only being monitored intermittently at present. We recognise that this, combined with the delay in processing refunds, has been frustrating and we are sorry that we haven't been able to provide more regular updates.

The challenges we have experienced with both the event and its cancellation reflect some of the difficulties we faced in trying to deliver EIRC this year. However, our responsibility now is to ensure that everyone receives the refund they are owed.
